Can self-organisation as a form of organisation be a driver of social change? And how do employees who work in self-organised companies or organisations fare? Our cooperation project with the School of Social Work at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland explored these questions. Während es über die internationale Fridays for Future-Bewegung zahlreiche Studien gibt, ist die Klimabewegung im Allgemeinen und die Klimastreikbewegung im Speziellen in der Schweiz noch kaum in den Blick der Forschung gelangt. Aktuell, mehr als drei Jahre nach Entstehen der Proteste, gilt es insbesondere danach zu fragen, wie sich Formen und Inhalte des Klimastreiks entwickelt haben.

Deshalb stellt die vorliegende Studie die Frage, woher der Schweizer Klimastreik kommt und wohin er geht. Und versucht, diese Frage soziologisch einzuordnen. Die Ausführung der Studie lag vollumfänglich in der Verantwortung des Soziologischen Instituts der Universität Basel.
